A Scout is Clean and HelpfulTimeline: Tuesday, March 24 - Tuesday, March 31
The Challenge: Pick up as much trash and/or Recyclables in and around Dells as you can. The Purpose: Firstly, a scout has a duty to nature conservation. Secondly, fresh air. The media morons have been blathering on about how warm weather will stop contagion spread; like a viron that lives in the human body at 100* is some how intimidated by 80* North American summers. The actual reason contagious disease spread lessons in summer is very simple: PEOPLE GET OUTSIDE. The Method: Get out side and pick up trash and recyclables left out after the snow melt. Wear your scout uniform. Take a picture, and post it to @journey.painting. Measurement: Each kitchen bag (or equivalent) counts as one point. The Prizes: This is an individual effort but collective gain: 1. The den whose members collect the most garbage individually/together will receive 1 free blizzard from DQ per scout. 2. The scout who picks up the most garbage overall will receive free blizzards for their family, plus free coffee for mom and dad. Work alone but win together. Safety: Don't go near the highway, busy roads, railroad tracks or the river. This was Jase and Michaels' idea, they had a head start so their challenge will end on Monday. Good Luck, Scouts Out!
