"Leave the world a little better than you found it."
- Sir Robert Baden-Powell, Founder of Scouting
A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful,
Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient,
Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
This year we will do things a little different. The class "A" uniform will be mandatory at ALL Pack Meetings. There are 3 important reasons for this: When the Scouts are dressed up and dressed alike they understand the importance of the uniform and the Pack/Team; We want to do Advancement Ceremonies at (almost) every Pack Meeting; finally, we want the Scouts to be able to participate in presenting the Colors. Den Leaders will let you know if Class "B" (T-shirts) are OK for Den Meetings. Hats are not required. You are not required to buy the Switchback Pants - the idea with pants is utility, you can't strap a belt or a canteen to sweatpants. This is not meant to be a barrier to scouting: If you cannot afford the cost of a new uniform we can get some gently used ones or provide your scout with a uniform scholarship. Just talk to Amber or Jason privately and we will get it squared away. Lion uniform consists of Scout T-Shirt.
